Lots of new stuff today! Let’s start with the obvious, there’s a new layout here at the fansite featuring the season 5 promo shot. We’ve also put up a new layout at the media archive.

We’ve revamped the majority of the content throughout the site and have either re-done it completely or updated it. We have a few sections we’re still in the process of revamping, but in the meantime you should check out everything to see the changes! For example, in the “Sophia” section we’ve updated her biography, the facts/trivia, the quotes, and have added a list of her awards/nominations. In addition, we’ve started to revamp the filmography section by adding detailed information for each project (or revamping the page if they previously existed). We currently have extra information up for “Van Wilder”, “Point of Origin”, and “One Tree Hill”. We’ll be getting the rest of that section complete as soon as possible.

In the media section, we’ve added a handful of new wallpapers. We’re always looking for icons/fanart/wallpaper for that section so if you have any you’d like to donate contact us! Credit will be given.

We’ve added a bunch of new affiliates and removed the affiliates that no longer appeared to exist. If your site was removed and it shouldn’t have been, you can re-apply on that page and we’ll get your site added back right away! We’re always looking for new affiliates so if you have a fansite and wish to affiliate, please do apply.

On the sidebar you’ll notice we’ve changed the featured video. One Tree Hill is back with a two hour premiere on January 8 so if you haven’t yet, check out the Brooke fast forward to find out what she’s been up to over the past four years!

Last but not least, thanks to our friendly news sources, InStyle: Party Hopper has posted an article about Sophia and her trip to Spain that was taken in the last few months. We’ve added two photos from the article to the gallery.

“Incredible!” is how Sophia sums up the appeal of Barcelona. “I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, had tapas and relaxed for the day. Monday it was off to Flaca by train, and then a short cab ride to a hotel called Castell d’Emporda, a redone castle atop a hill overlooking the countryside. I almost felt as though we had been dropped in Tuscany. It’s so gorgeous that I immediately envisioned it as a phenomenal backdrop for an In Style fashion shoot by the pool. It’s an hour train ride from Barcelona, and a few more stops down the line is Figueres, where the Salvador Dali Museum is located. It was so stunning. And playful. (In addition to being a closet bookworm, I also geek-out on art I love. Later I visited the Picasso museum, which featured phenomenal pieces from his blue period).”

After the gifts have been opened and the bottles of champagne drained, ring in the new year with your favorite group from Tree Hill. SOAPNet has announced they will be running a New Year’s Day Marathon of 13 episodes from Season Four of ‘One Tree Hill’

BUT! It’s not just any marathon. Throughout the airing of the episodes there will be new on-set interviews with your favorite cast members talking about their best memories and favorite scenes from Season Four as well as a trip down the red carpet with the cast for their 100th Episode Party. You can also expect lots of behind the scenes info on Season Five!

The Marathon begins airing on January 1st, 2008 at 11AM on SOAPNet. The following episodes will be featured (in this order) until midnight:
